New exciting news coming from Japan: a new series of Beyblade (third) will debut at the end of March/beginning of April.
For what concerns the anime, the first episode of the third series will air on April 3rd 2011 in Japan, the title of this new series is “Metal Fight Beyblade 4D”
Now let’s talk about the hobby-side.
A brand new Beyblade system will be launched, it’s the 4D System. The 4Ds are:
Different Material
Divided Wheel
Dynamic Move
Deep Custom
Different Material - There might be a slight portion of a new material in the Clear Wheel.Divided Wheel - In this new system the Metal Wheel is formed by at least two parts. It has a mode change.
Dynamic Move - The Track and the Bottom are fused together in a unnamed single piece. Also this piece has some sort of mechanism that allows for istance the changing of the tip mode.
Deep Custom - Evidently these new features allow for a better customization.

The Track+Bottom piece is F:D. It has a mechanism to change the tip from a plastic SF, in the begin of the battle, to a RF (very wide), in the end of battle. You can see it in this picture.
Metal Wheel (50 mm wide) is composed by two pieces plus a polycarbonate piece, picture. So it will have four different modes depending on the position of the various pieces picture. Smash Attack Mode and "Omnidirectional" Attack Mode: picture

Clear Wheel will contain metal powder in it, so it will probably be heavier than normal.
