Beyblade : Metal Fusion – New infos and details!

New official informations from Hasbro about Beyblade Metal Fusion!

The press release says BMF will be launched in Canada first in spring 2010 (March), then in the United States in fall 2010. But let’s see in detail…


First of all, the name of the parts of Hybrid Wheel System could be changed in:
- (no official Face name at the moment)
- Fusion Wheel
- Spin Track
- Performance Tip
The Tool is still present.
The “let it rip” expression returns.
A new site will be created (BeybladeBattles.com) where users will be able to customize their Beyblades online and fight people around the world online, don’t know how yet.

I finally found a decent case for my blades :)

New package

A box from theINtoy arrived today…

I purchased a Burn Phoenix 135MS and three Random Booster Vol.4 Mirage Virgo, with the hope to accidentaly find Virgo :D

Metal Fight / Fusion Beyblade Movie!

Yes, you read right…a new Beyblade movie is on the way!
After “Beyblade The Movie – Fierce Battle” of the old series (that wasn’t that great), it seems also the new Beyblade generation and anime will have a movie based on it.
It seems the same cast of the new anime will be used for the most.

The MFB Movie will come out in the Japan cinemas this Summer. No dates for the other countries until now.

Serpent, Phoenix, Virgo

There are new informations and images about the new beys.

First of all here it is the first official image of Poison Serpent SW145SD.




As I already said in a previous post, the Poison Wheel is a Balance type and it's something very similar to two Dark Wheels melted together.

The Track SW145 is Balance too, and it seems that SW stands for “Switch” since it will be possible to change from attack to defense mode, or something similar. Poison Serpent will be available in Japan on February 2010.

Here below the images of Burn Phoenix and Mirage Virgo parts, from TakaraTomy official site.


The new Virgo’s Track, GB145, will probably work at the same way of the Draciel Base of the old plastic generation, so the two metal balls will go outward due to the centrifugal force, while they will move inward when the spin velocity decreases.

For what concerns Burn Phoenix, CoroCoro will release a special gold version of it that will be given to its subscribers (lucky Japanese! XD)


This special version will have, besides a golden Burn Wheel, a crystal white Storm Pegasis Clear Wheel, the ED145 Track (Clay Aries) and a flat Bottom (don't know which).

Rock Sting

The new Escolpio has finally been revealed in the last episode of the anime (n°37). Click “Read more”.


It is Rock Escolpio T125JB.

The first (minimal) change from the pre-HWS (Hybrid Wheel System) version is in the Face, the colors are very similar (green on black) but some small purple strips have been added on the green emblem, maybe to give a more “graffiti style” to it.



The Clear Wheel maintains in some way the first Escolpio colors, it’s red and it is actually the less wide (and should be the lightest) ever made.


We are accostumed (not too much XD) to the choice to maintain the same Metal Wheel for different beyblades, so…here it is another Rock Wheel… -_-



The Track is a T125, the same of Flame Libra.

For what concerns the Bottom, this is the only true new thing.

It is the JB (maybe Jagged or Jut or Jank…??? Ball), as you can see in the image below, it has many small spikes that should give more grip to the blade, but they surely decrease its Stamina abilities.
